The 90s weren’t perfect but I’ve been embracing certain aspects of that decade to preserve any remaining mental health I might have. Some highlights: I have only been listening to music on my phone (it’s a Walkman!) on my commute which has been amazing and automatically makes me feel less overstimulated the entire rest of the day. I’ve only been reading physical books vs digital ones (I need less screens. Period). I have also been randomly calling my friends without sending them a warning text or scheduling a call (doesn’t always work out but when it does it’s lovely). Soon I will really go crazy and leave my apartment without my phone.
